Ram Dass is former Harvard professor and Timothy Leary colleague Dr. Richard Alpert, famous for bringing meditation and LSD experimentation into the mainstream during the 1960s. His book Be Here Now is a hippie classic, which introduced thousands to the spiritual path. The interview is included in the 2003 documentary, which Katy produced in Sonoma, California, called What Ever Happened to the 1960s? In this segment, you may notice Ram Dass’ speech is slowed, a remnant of a stroke he suffered a few years ago. Click above to watch.
